Reduced Mobility

We not only assist customers with restricted mobility at the airport‚ but also during the flight. Our free-of-charge services include carrying special medical equipment on board and registration for the wheelchair services available at the relevant airports.

Depending on your needs, the following services are available:

• You can board and leave the aircraft independently. However, the wheelchair is required for the routes within the airport area.

• You can move independently in the cabin, but you will need assistance to climb stairs and in the airport area.
  (IATA Code: WCHS)
• You are dependent on a wheelchair everywhere and all the time.
  (IATA Code: WCHC)

Please register the needed service as early as possible and latest 48 hours prior to departureusing the form below. We will then make the necessary arrangements for you. For reasons of security and support we are unfortunately only able to transport a limited number of passengers with restricted mobility.

Attention:

Wheelchairs with a lithium battery must not exceed 300 watts. If your device is operated with two batteries‚ each battery must not exceed 160 watts.
Wet batteries are not carried for safety reasons.

Assistance Dog

Your assistance dog or guide dog can of course accompany you in the aircraft cabin free of charge. A special transport container for your dog is not required. Please however inform us of your animal in good time – at least 48 hours before departure by sending the form below to servicecenter@chair.ch and bring all documents required for entry and departure (valid pet passport‚ vaccination certificate and health certificate).
